The Masterclass

PART I - LESGHINKA

Discover "Lesghinka", the Lyapunov's X Etude —a caucasian dance, inspired by Balakirev's "Islamey".

PART II - AEOLIAN HARPS

"Aeolian Harps", the IX Etude by Lyapunov, confronts the performer with an entirely different set of difficulties, which, nevertheless are to be played in the lightest way.

PART III - RONDE DES SYLPHES

Florian Noack approaches Lyapunov XI Etude, "Ronde des Sylphes" -a clear hommage to "Feux-Follets" (Liszt). The two pieces share a lot of similar difficulties, and particularly the double notes.

You can purchase each of the three episodes independently.
